Push notifications & device support

Set up Analyst push alerts and learn what is required on desktop, Android, iPhone, and iPad.

Last updated July 22, 2026

Push notifications can alert you when a newly available analysis matches your criteria, even when Bekodia is closed. Push is an Analyst feature.

Push notifications vs. in-app sounds

  • Push notifications can appear when Bekodia is closed. They require the Analyst plan and a supported device and browser.
  • In-app sounds play while Bekodia is open. They are available on every plan. Go to Settings → Notifications to choose a sound and volume.

Setting it up

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
  2. Enable Push notifications and accept the browser permission prompt.
  3. Choose which analyses should qualify for an alert.

Choosing what you get alerted on

  • Minimum confidence — qualify analyses at or above a score (default 4).
  • Direction — all, bullish only, or bearish only.
  • Story momentum — all stories, stories with momentum, or stories without momentum.
  • Mirror dashboard filters — use your saved Dashboard filter criteria instead of the basic push settings.
  • Watched tickers — allow analyses for selected symbols to qualify even when another push criterion would exclude them. You can watch up to 20 tickers. Add them in Settings → Notifications or select the bell button on a feed card or ticker page.

Device & browser support

Push works in supported browsers on desktop and Android.

On iPhone and iPad, web push requires iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later. You must open Bekodia in Safari, add it to your Home Screen, and then open the installed Home Screen app. Enable push from Settings → Notifications inside that app.

Not receiving notifications?

  • Confirm you're on the Analyst plan.
  • Check notification permissions in both your browser and operating system.
  • Check whether Focus or Do Not Disturb is suppressing alerts.
  • Confirm that your alert criteria match the analyses you expect to receive.
  • On iPhone or iPad, confirm that you installed Bekodia from Safari and opened the Home Screen app on iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.
  • See Troubleshooting for more.
